11/8/24 INTERMEDIATE Thanksgiving Virtual Sip + Stitch
Virtual Class: 11/8/24 at 7:30 PM CST
Captivated by the art of hand embroidery, Kelley's passion blossomed from creating simple garments for her children into her dream job. Through this workshop, equipped with essential supplies and fundamental stitching techniques, you too can embark on your journey of crafting exquisite pieces in no time! Participants will leave with their personalized handiwork and a stitch kit ready for you to tackle future projects. Under Kelley's guidance, you will grasp intermediate embroidery stitches and receive valuable insights for advancing in your craft.
You will learn intermediate hand embroidery techniques such as, bullion knots, stem stitch, and lazy daisy! You will also learn how to combine different stitching techniques in the same design/project.
This special Thanksgiving themed class will feature a holiday themed design, but you will be able to use these stitching techniques year round to create beautiful art! A canvas to stitch your project on will be provided, however, if you would like to stitch this design onto something you already own (child's clothing, adult shirt, tea towel, pillowcase, etc) feel free to have that ready to sketch out the design for class.
Given the leisurely nature of hand embroidery and individual working speeds, completion of the entire project during the workshop may vary among participants.
The class includes all necessary supplies, shipped directly to you and a fun and educational experience!
*if you have taken beginner sip & stitch and do not need an entire stitch kit please let me know and I will include additional helpful supplies (instead of the beginner kit) for you to add to your tool box!
